I thought it was a good movie, felt like what season 9 would have been about

I can't believe people defending this movie on this site, it's a longer TV episode. Look at the actors on it. Vince hasn't done shyt since the show went off the air 4 years ago. Drama had 2 failed shows on tv . E the midget is just awful all around. Turtle only guy trying to act and stay in shape. Too bad it's not even remotely believable he can bag hot girls . Movie should be based on Ari and those close to him. Cudi is his associate so I hope he came out okay. Biggest problem of this movie is Vince. He is not a believable superstar actor.
What? Dude just admit you just don't get what the show was about. They weren't trying to make Vince a great actor, it was to show how if you get good people around you, and enough talent to pass as a decent actor.. you can make it in Hollywood. And the hate tall have for turtle is ridiculous if you can't see how he gets girls then you must not get them either.
So what did you think the premise of the show was? From the very first episode, it showed what kind of people Vince and the squad were. They've mentioned numerous times that they didn't play by the Hollywood rules. You thought it was about him being famous, them mooching and running around fukkin women?
Exactly.

Again what criticism of the concept of the show I'm complaining about ? I said the actor and the character he played is lazy. He had zero charisma to me. There is nothing to make want to see an Adrian Grenier movie in real life. He is bland . Drama and Ari carried that show along with Dana Gordon and Billy Walsh. Name an episode where Vince carried the show.

Well you said he wasn't a believable superstar actor and lazy in real life and on the show. I can't comment on Adrian Grenier (besides, he may be type cast) but in the show, he didn't want to be a superstar actor. He wanted to be an indie-actor and was only driven by the projects that he had a passion for. He wasn't chasing Hollywood, unlike his brother, who was trying to be in everything to keep his name out there. Ari is the one that pushed for him to be a superstar because he was a natural, likable and a pretty boy. If you didn't believe him as an actor, did you believe them as real friends? That's what the whole show was about; their interaction with each other.

And as for the show not making you want to see something with him in real life, you do know that Entourage was a parody, right? Johnny Drama's career is damn near identical to Kevin Dillon's career.

You really said Dana Gordon? She had like 10 lines, 8 of them in one episode. Shawna was just as much as a memorable character as Dana Gordon.

You right I bow down to your superior knowledge on this movie. Greatest show on HBO history. The cast should have won Emmy in every category. At least it will sweep the Oscars this year.

Do people still listen to critics? I though the Internet would have made them irrelevant.

I trust the Coli way more than any critic.
the internet and social media has made them more relevant..or at least prevalent

people will bash and have negative opinions of movies they haven't seen yet just cuz of the general opinion
