Signing Freddie reminds me of when Albert signed that contract with the angles, realistically is he really going to be that much of a difference maker for the next 6 years

i think you could reasonably expect 3 more years of high level production and then a downtrend once he hits 35. 5 year contract would be ideal with him

Pujols & Miggy signed 8-10 year deals around those ages, its those last 5 years that kill you

I'd still argue that Pujols' decline would have been much, MUCH less steep if it weren't for defensive shifts.

Still can't believe we haven't got any news on Freeman/Correa/Story and Bryant yet.

Correa wants that 10 year 330 mil contract

yankees out,Astros offered 5 ,cubs willing to offer 7 maybe 8

No other teams need a ss or can afford dude so it’s pretty much cubs or Astros(he’ll stay in Houston if the dough close)unless someone else comes thru

bryant was linked to the Rockies & mariners , that’s all I heard & Harper wanted him
On Phillies

freeman tryin to get the biggest contract so he’s gonna stall em out

You hope that 3 of those years are still big time years with one of them being OK followed by the fall off. Pujols maybe gave them 1 big time year.

:laff: :laff: where's @tremonthustler1 he must be ill reading that..

If they're comfortable being the 2nd best team at Yankee Stadium, then that's what they'll be.

From the banks and shareholders to the analytics department, they sure love covering for people who are too p*ssy to talk.

Hal wants to be the baseball G. Dep so bad
