Hard to say.
He's kind of a middling pitcher. But last year he managed to get a ton of ground balls. He doesn't miss a lot of bats but somehow struck out a good number of batters.
It looks like he got rid of his slider since it wasn't working for him and he's primarily fastball/cutter/splitter now.
I would have concerns about his ability to miss bats and change speeds. At least over time.
That said, he was effective last season. At 27 years old, he's probably worth quite a bit.
I wouldn't give up like, a top 30 prospect for him.
This is a good move. Kiner-Falefa sucks and Garver is a powerful bat.
The only concern I have about Correa is...how much do you overpay? Because he's going to get 40 million more than he should -- at least.
He's a very good player. But I think people try to frame him like he's Alex Rodriguez talent at SS and he's closer to like...Tulowitzki level.
Still great. But I'm saying tho...
I like Correa but hes not worth the money hes asking for,his numbers are just underwhelming as a whole...hes not in that tier of Soto,Vlad,Acuna,Tatis of guys you know ur gonna have to overpay but you dont mind...
