I get it but for one season, I don't see why they wouldn't bring him back. Certainly wouldn't hurt, especially with all the time they've already invested in him.

We just did bring him back for one season and it ended in disappointment once again. We have postseason aspirations now, he’s not a guy you can count on in September and beyond. That 20 mil needs to go to improving RF & 2B, even if Rodon signed on 1/2 year deal it would take 22 mil away from where we can spend to fill other holes. I’d rather that money go to a an OF and we pick up a vet SP on a short term deal
