Is it possible that MLB could sue the players union even though they're the ones that negotiated in bad faith & instituted the lockout?

What's your team?

Astros. All good, if they play this season ima buy and sell all playoff tickets for double with the lost game credits. They just emailed us this.

Upon today’s announcement, the balance for the cancelled games associated with your season plan will be deducted from your account balance or, if your account is paid in full, will be applied as an account credit. You will be able to use your credit in the future at your discretion. If you prefer to receive a refund for these games as an alternative to a credit, please contact your ticket rep and they will help facilitate your request.

What makes me angrier is that this is being done to prevent teams from spending crazy money and the Yankees happen to agree. Cohen may be a scammer but he's out here spending trying get the Mets a title cuz he knows how much that would mean to NY. A lot of these owners just don't feel that way.

I'm just gonna watch Nippon Professional Baseball and the minors. YES might as well air any games with The Martian.

Brooklyn Cyclones games are fun :ehh:

The thing is the owners don't need to play a game, they are already wealthy, the players many of them are rich, but if this carries on, they won't have a "game" to comeback to. I remember I used to be in on Hockey as a kid, but that one lockout they had all those years ago killed that for me. When Hockey got their act together, I was like forget this. It's going to be the same for baseball. as far as the younger demographic. it's one thing if the NFL has a lockout, but baseball, and hockey. or soccer in America, the revenue lost will/would be catastrophic, in both the present day and future fandoms.

You are right. The problem with hockey and baseball is they think they are on the same level as football and basketball. Those 2 sports could survive a strike/lockout because of the popularity.

Basically, baseball is like a contact hitter who thinks they are a home run hitter. They gotta stay in their lane. To not know how to make all parties happy over billions of dollars is just dumb.

They need an independent arbitrator.
