If the white sox offered the qo Rodon most likely would of accepted it. He’s too injury prone to give 18.4 when you can just sign him to a cheaper one year deal or 2 with a club option or a incentive laced contract

edit: nightingale & the athletic writer said white sox not bringing Rodon back

Not surprised. Mets fans are gonna be surprised when teams offer him more than the QO per year despite having his worst year.

Let him walk. The Mets largely struggled because he couldn't hit when it mattered and hit at all tbh. He's streaky at best and hasn't lived up to his potential. Should he return on a team friendly deal, good for the Mets. If he walks, I won't lose sleep at night. Call up Khalil Lee who's already a better glove than Michael and improved his bat by a lot down in Syracuse along with swinging for Castellanos should he become available.

Yea dude been wreckin shop in afl & since he went to aa, definitely gonna make the 40 man roster & get called up some time early in ‘22.Velasquez & Brennan davis the reason why cubs should splurge on starting pitching, add a lefty bat(Matt Olson would be ideal,A’s about to slash payroll by 25-30 mil) & bring back the gawd baez then they’ll be right back in postseason contention.

They about to have a fire sale. Manaez/Bassitt/Montas could all be traded along with Chapman. I always like Olson. Has a lot of power and a great defender at 1st base.

Yankees gotta go after him big time and that's considering all the holes they still have. Olson is built for Yankee Stadium.

The Yankees should be in on seager & Olson they need those type of hitters for real .That line up too right handed & strikes out too much & one of their lefties is the king of strikeouts
