I know if you get a steroid suspension, you don't get paid. I'm not sure why Bauer still gets paid or if he did.

I think Duvall will be back. I think Freddie will be back. I would guess that we'll have to choose between Rosario and Soler.

Is it just the injury concerns?
I certainly wouldn't give him a long term deal but I would definitely take a flyer on him after the season he just had. The talent has always been there.
I’m just seeing this now. I’m a bit baffled by this move considering if Carlos was to turn down the QO we would get a free compensation pick in the draft, which is even more valuable considering we have a bottom tier farm. If he does accept it, whatever you have him on a harmless one year deal.
Maybe they know something I don’t about his injuries, but maybe they just can’t trust him to be relied on for a full season (which is probably fair but on a one year deal who cares really, you shouldn’t count on him in that instance)

someone could take the flier on either one and give them a lower salary for bext year in hopes they are available the following year.
