NY fans and media does have a way of hyping up 1 guy over everyone else and giving them all the credit and attention.
Derek Jeter was that guy for 20 years. In that time did you remember much attention and praise going to Bernie or Mussina or Pettitte or Matsui ? Sure. Maybe for a moment or two. But you know what I mean.
The Yankees are good this year and Judge is probably the front runner for MVP. But he hasn’t been the only Yankee playing well.
The Dodgers probably are the deeper lineup. And it would be more evident if the roster on the field performed the way they were expected to on paper — as guys like Muncy and Justin Turner have struggled.
