There's a general lack of talent in baseball. Both Central divisions are terrible; the AL West is shyt outside of Houston; the AL East isn't really that talented outside of the Yanks; NL East and West have two good teams then meh afterwards. For all the talk of the wild card keeping more teams in it, this season isn’t necessarily doing that. There’s an extra playoff spot and the Angels are 7.5 back of that too

These teams don't have any quick fix options either.
Yep and it's a terrible idea. There's so few teams to care about for the general/casual fan.And doesn't the MLB want to expand?
I love baseball, but I don't want 2 more teams. I don't need 2 extra teams when you got teams like A's and Reds who need new ownership and/or new homes altogether. And doesn't the MLB want to expand?

They just wanna balance it out so they can have 8 divisions of 4 teams each, but that would lead to something like a division with the Yankees, Red Sox, Mets and Phillies which would be torture.
Well some of these prospects aren't developing the way they're supposed to. Jo Adell, India this season, everyone in Detroit, Lux, Pache, Hiura, Grisham, etc. There's a general lack of talent in baseball. Yeah, that's why I said there's a superstar problem in MLB. I bet a lot has to do with how the game is stressed by the analytics departments and the all or nothing approach at the plate plus the shift.Well some of these prospects aren't developing the way they're supposed to. and then the wack teams have crappy minor league systems which makes it worse
