Baez is a very good player this wouldn’t be a bad consolation & they might rather spread the dough around to address multiple needs

He's great in the field but they need consistent bats in the lineup. If they give him a 6-8 year deal, I'll be really disgusted they didn't go the extra mile and get Correa or Semien.

Now is exactly the time to give out some monster deals because they have next to no salary on the team besides Miggy. Everybody else is making peanuts.

Way it ended highly doubt Jays FO would consider Stroman,he tweeted some disparaging comments about them on the way out the door about how they would never spend and build a team around Vladdy (which he was wrong about)

True but they about to let Semien go and Matz is out the door. Just move Bichette to 3B...

Bo cant play 3rd and if Semien goes its cuz he wants to play SS....They have enough and prospects to what they need to do regardless of Ray and Semien...

They might lose both and still be better to start next year....They are going to spend.
