This is kind of interesting only because I feel like STL has a way of improving pitchers.

I'm probably just imagining it, but I still have that impression.

Chris Carpenter was a bum in Toronto, goes to STL and becomes an All Star.
Kyle Lohse was a bum and by the end of his time in STL he's posting a sub-3.00 ERA.

I'm not saying I think Matz becomes a stud in STL. He still is very hittable. But who knows? Maybe he has a Michael Wacha type season.
