Two years later, Mack said that they simply stopped coaching VY and let VY be VY. Texas had extremely strong leadership that year.

I'm ready for the flood gates on the freshmen to be open. If they are gonna be bad, why not get those guys all the reps you can get. Recruits will love that too. You know Boyd is ready to Bryant Westbrook somebody too.

And I don't get that honestly. Not a good completing percentage. Slower, bad team, and indecisive.

Yeah Mack practically admitted that he won't recruit players like VY any longer back in 2006 I believe.

It crushed Mack soul when he couldn't win with HIS guy Colt

Even Chris Simms said Mack stopped recruiting talent and started going after frat guy athletes

I'm just NOW finding out about all of this. Explains alot. Why try and find the Anti-Vince though?
