umm I think I know...I did grab it from Bridgewaters wiki page coachin aint the problem....its the qb...swoops is trash.....he was a bad throwin in hs and was only ranked stupid high because of his size

But here's what the #s dont tell you.

Those Teddy Louisville teams were loaded at the skill positions. Teddy wasnt a Heisman candidate, but should have been. He should have put up way better #s than that. He didnt because Watson would call shyt plays from time to time and it would take Teddy to bail the offense out in the end.

Watson is a great QB coach, but a bad OC.

Swoopes is a bad QB. But at the same time some of the play calling is the worst I've seen in some time.

I really would like to know who chose Swoopes over JT Barrett? Was it Mack? Was it Harsin? Was it Major? The recruiting classes of 2011-2013 is quite possibly three of the worst recruiting classes the last 20 years of major programs. What did they see with Swoopes over JT? It wasn't his running ability, it wasn't his great stats in high school (he QB'd a team that went 1-9 in fukkin 2-A). JT was rated higher and he was quick as well as a leader on a better team on a bigger classification.

They saw Anti-Vince..since Vince left, they've been looking for anything OTHER than a great, VOCAL leader like him. Lucked into Colt who studied
under Vince. Mack and other egos.

Yeah. Mack got extremely lazy really starting in 2008. He got lucky with Colt McCoy. He was already an average X's and O's coach and he was not a hard nosed get in your face type of coach like Stoops. But he was a great recruiter and he changed up his recruiting style after the VY championship team around 2006. If Colt didn't turn out the way he did, his 2010-2013 seasons would have started in 2006 though not as bad because there was actual talent like Jamal Charles on that team. Shyt's frustrating to watch.

I just couldn't post last night I was so dissapointed. Don't know why someone posted Sumlin's picture. They destroyed a then top 10 South Carolina in last year's opener too. They might be good, but chill. We still don't know shyt about them or ASU. After chilling a bit, I will just say its time for the youth movement. Right now, Gray and Doyle are the only upperclassmen I trust. Unless ND is truly a great team, we will play three more teams as good or better than them. Might as well get the more talented young guys ready. That includes getting Swoopes out of there.

Had to insert 2 true freshman into a line that was terrible last year. Williams has the technique just needs to add strength and experience. Vahe is going to take some lumps this year. We grabbed two Jucos we can't use. And our "veterans" aren't consistent. Perkins needs to be back at G but then we have no RT. Flowers should be our best OL but he can't pass block. Doyle is solid but inconsistent. Not sure how much of that is on Wickline, when the cupboard is bare. You should never have to play true freshman on the starting OL at UT.

Day is the only concern. Where are the edge rushers? That's where the inexperience is on our line.
