@dtownreppin214 @Numpsay Is CloseToJumping from the SurlyHorns forums credible to y'all?

All of the national recruitng sites had Bryce as a dual-threat QB coming outta High School.

I don't even care about running designed QB running plays. I just want dual-threat QBs beacuse I want QBs that can make big plays with his feet when a play breaks down or nobody is open. Like I said before the spread offenses with dual-threat QBs who are good pocket passers are the scariest offenses in CFB & HSFB.
I don't think a team led by a dual threat QB has won a championship in the last 10 years. You are really overrating their affect. Having a QB that can be mobile is suffice.
Yeah I think everyone has figured out the last several years or so that Pro-spread offenses are the most difficult spread offenses to defend against when it's humming right. Which is why I always add the caveat of being a good pocket passer when talking about dual-threat QBs.

:lupe: @dtownreppin214 @Numpsay Y'all think Sark is gonna recruit 2024 5-star QB D.J. Lagway?:

Weren’t the IT guys saying he needs refinement? That he’s not really a 5 star?
Doubtful. Julian Sayin would have been the guy if Arch didn't commit. Idk if you can get another 5 star QB with our current QB room. Also the early returns on Malik Murphy are good.
I haven't seen what the IT mods have said on Lagway, but based on watching that MaxPreps highlights I posted... He doesn't look like a polished pocket passer.
Lagway dropped a top 10 & UT didn't make the list:

Didn’t ask me but he claims to be connected. I don’t listen to anything he says. Always claiming to have a friend on every staff in the country and supposedly has close personal relationships with friends and family of all the players. When someone is always claiming to be in the know I tend to start to ignore them but maybe he is just that well connected.

Plus he has no respect for the players or their families. My bad for the rant but been reading that dudes post for years and hate his energy.

He is a puppet for some lower level boosters. They use him when they want particular information to be put out there.

Y’all insiders are mega homers that’s why y’all get blind slighted as much as y’all do. The Texas homer on the paid site swears y’all are getting Toviano when he hasn’t visited y’all since last year and skipped the UT-Bama to go see LSU-Southern

Right now, none of the Texas paid sites know where Toviano is going, except that It seems like he's leaning toward LSU.

:francis: What do ya'll think about Deandre Moore or Kyle Parker?
Staff decided he wasn't worth the cost. WR is one area I wouldn't worry too much about. But out of those 2 give me Moore. Parker gives me JoJo Earle vibes.
What's wrong with JoJo Earle? Parker seems like no-brainer high-floor slot WR take.

Anyways in hindsight, aren't y'all glad they took Jonah Wilson's commitment back in June? I remember @dtownreppin214 was iffy about that take back in June.

Listening to this week's Hons247 Recruiting podcast & I just got put onto another black 2024 in-state QB that Sark is recruiting... the son of former 90's star UT WR Mike Adams: Deuce Adams of New Braunfels Canyon

How Deuce and Eli Adams are following in their dad's footsteps

Looks like he's been on UOVs to UT multiple times his year:

Horns247's Hudson Standish put out this write-up on him a couple days ago:
— I spoke with New Braunfels Canyon 2024 quarterback Deuce Adams after the junior QB visited Texas for the UTSA game. Adams has remained in contact with Texas QBs coach AJ Milwee throughout the offseason and has seen that contact increase since the September 1st contact window opened. In a cycle that Texas could take a "bridge" quarterback after landing the top overall player in the 2023 clas in Arch Manning, Adams would make sense in that role as a Texas legacy that has been steadily improving and has thrown for Milwee and Sarkisian multiple times before.

Adams said the visit was "amazing, and the energy was great inside the stadium" and that his main feedback from the Texas staff is that they understand he's playing at a good level but also are aware that he has the potential to level his game up still. Through four games this year Adams is 98/142 for 1,326 passing yards, a 16/3 TD to INT ratio, and 120 rushing yards in a 4-0 start for Canyon which included the first win in nine years over rival New Braunfels in the "Wurst Bowl."

Damn, Gerry Hamilton just put in a crystal ball for DeAndre Moore:
