Rumors on some of the boards that Neyor might be done for the year. Sickening if true.

He is done. So is Angular or however you spell his name. Collins and Roschon likely out 4-6 weeks. Injuries have reared its ugly head over the past week. Going to need Hall to put in the work and be back by the Bama game.

4 very key players out for Bama probably and Jahdae Barron who is supposed to have a promising season. :snoop:

Bobby-

It’s been reported elsewhere already, but we have also been told that both starting wide receiver Isaiah Neyor and starting offensive lineman Junior Angilau suffered knee injuries that will sideline them for “the rest of the season.”

We are told Angilau’s injury is particularly bad.

Neyor and Angilau weren’t the only injured players for the Horns.

Running back and team leader Roschon Johnson was carted off the field yesterday during the team’s first scrimmage but is thought to have suffered an ankle sprain. Johnson is expected to miss roughly 4-6 weeks.

Defensive lineman Alfred Collins is also injured, though we don’t have more specifics on that other than it occurred prior to Saturday’s scrimmage. He is expected to be back in 4-6 weeks.

Meanwhile, defensive back Jahdae Barron is walking in a boot. He stepped on a ref’s foot at a practice Friday and turned his ankle.

I'm not sure anyone saw that coming. Joseph was on him before anyone and had basically been recruiting him for 2 years. Not sure I get the appeal of Tenn but we really need to get Toviano now though.

Why isnt Ewers clearly winning the job :jbhmm:

I dont trust QBs who transfer from OSU

Ever since Burrow left Im pretty sure @smitty22 puts a root on them:hubie:
Keep in mind Ewers should essentially be a true freshman QB. How often do those come in and win QB1? Lawrence didn't even do that. Remember he didn't go through a Summer/Fall camp at OSU. I think the fan expectations on Ewers are way too high. I think he will be named QB1, but there will be some growing pains.
