Ulofl this year off the top of my head. I also believe he has never beaten their rival Iowa. If we fired Herman last year, Campbell would have been the guy, this year he wasn't high on the list. There was a set of standards that needed to be met and Campbell didn't satisfy that list. And UT preferred hiring an offensive head coach with stellar DC to pair him with.

Offense reigns supreme in college football so I was hoping we'd hire someone with that type of acumen and higher a top 5 DC. Short list should be Muschamp, Mason, Steele or keep Ash. If it's Mark Stoops I'll be highly concerned.
Recent signings will mostly stay and we are going to be in play for some big names in the transfer portal.
Sark has 3 years, but I think we'll see a better team next year and people will realize Herman wasn't doing shyt with the talent he had. I mean the recruiting rankings aren't right for all the other top teams except Texas.
Ehlinger isn't coming back. I think people will realize how much that bum was holding our offense back as well.
All in all how the staff shakes out will be super important. UT allowed both Charlie and Herman to higher their boys. Not this time, we are going big game hunting.

when I was on campus we had colt and kd. Athletic dept finally looking on the up like those days. Sark the AD and the bee pres seem committed to building an all star staff.

Matt Campbell is right there to be hired and we hire Carroll's lackey.
Matt Campbell has never worked at a major university before. Hiring him was viewed in the same light as hiring Herman and Strong and they weren't willing to take that chance again. Plus he is a midwest guy with no ties to Texas and no real coaching affiliations either.
I can't wait to see how his staff shakes out. Hopefully we can get Bama's OL coach and get the Brockermyer's back.
