1st Herman coming back now this.
Bad day for UT
Herman is not coming back. 2 things are happening here. 1. People have bad comprehension skills, and 2. the media is trying to force a more definitive statement out of the AD.

Ja' Quinden Jackson in the transfer portal. Likely headed to SMU
Letting Samples go to SMU was a big mistake. Man CDC better come through
Jeff Traylor. He isn’t ready IMO. He’s also older than Dabo who is 51. Not old but not all that young. He’s only had one year as head coach and that was at UTSA.
Texas high school "legend" coach. Has major pull in the state but doesn't have enough skins on the wall in college as of yet.
How do we stop this bullshyt? Seems to be a unique problem for our program. Negative recruiting from within and disgruntled lettermen on the outside. You don't see this shyt anywhere else. Even tho Herman is known dikkhead, I'm kinda surprised to see this still after the coaches' strong support of their efforts this summer.

You may recall that former 4-star DB and FSU DB, Jaiden Woodbey recently entered the portal and after including Texas in his list of possible transfer destination, ultimately picked Boston College.
I recently spoke with someone close to Woodbey and was told the reason why Woodbey chose BC over Texas. Source told me that Jaiden himself said that he had Texas players telling him not to come there. Not as in they were trying to dissuade him from coming because they were afraid of competition but just more of the negative recruiting we’ve seen come from inside the program in the past.
If Herman is retained, this matter will need to be addressed somehow. It has cost Texas multiple players.
It happens to some degree at other schools but it’s excessive and too pervasive at Texas. It needs to be rooted out.
Yeah been hearing for 3 years the players hate him. Also this dude has some off the field issue that has not been made public. Scipio mentioned it on his podcast.Herman can't/won't be retained. The program is in disarray because the worst kept secret is Herman is done here. Irreparable damage is being done by stringing out of firing Herman for so long. Losing out on crucial recruits, players entering the portal, and leaving early for the NFL. CDC convinced himself it was more healthy for the program to retain Herman until the new coach could be announced and he couldn't be more wrong.
The majority of the players have grown to love him for all the wrong reasons. Herman has a drinking problem. Him and his wife had a big blow up on a donors plane coming from Mexico. It was so bad his wife attempted to open the door mid flight and jump out.Yeah been hearing for 3 years the players hate him.
