Coffey and Ibraheem are Longhorns. I'm hearing good things about the new DB coach brehs. I think he's going to be a solid recruiter for us.
I don't think there is any doubt regarding his "recruiting" I think people were worried about his coaching. But I think Ash will take an active approach to coaching the DBs. Their technique has been horrible the last few seasons. Jason Washington was not a good coach.

Brock's grandad, dad, and brother all played at Texas. This is an indictment on Herman. Hand is also dropping the ball. This was supposed to be an all-time OL class.
Yes/No regarding this being Herman's fault. Blake(dad) is the real helicopter type and has been a real bytch about things. However there was no reason to delay offering James because you was never going to get one without the other. Not to mention you put Luke on scholarship so why would you have reservations regarding James. There was some real pause regarding James though, Clemson felt the same way which is why they fell out of contention.
I agree on Hand. Including the Brock's, we'll miss on Donovan Jackson, Byrd, and probably Foster. We haven't had an OL commit in over a year.

This program is a sick mess. I know deep down the players don't fukk with Herman.
Herman is suffering for the same reason Strong did. Both hired their boys instead of hiring a top notch staff from jump. Both had to end up firing their boys and now have to hope their newhnew are up to the task.

My post wasn't meant to infer we couldn't, but honestly. I'd want the majority of them in burnt orange. Just saying Herman didn't just "lose" out on those recruits. But honestly talent isn't really the problem. We have plenty of it, our issues is more coaching. We had p5 talent with non p5 coaches and it showed.
