Is he lying tho? Ehlinger looks so stiff out there this year. I need a QB with some more juice and flare. Can't wait till JJ and Milroe are on campus.

However anxious the fanbase feels now, it will be double in a few weeks when Baylor and Kansas St beat us two different ways - throwing & running. By then I expect Fillinger to bounce and whispers to start on Bijan.Lost both Pouncey brothers today, current WR, and recruit(DB). I think we are good with most of the instate players because its not like A&M is doing any better, but the out of staters
Bijon seems solid based on his last interview but I am now starting to worry @dtownreppin214
We need to win out and beat OU in the rematch to salvage this season, but its highly likely we lose to K St and Baylor. Still confused on how this team took a step backwards.

The actual starting secondary+Overshown is supposed to be back by the KSU game. Hopefully those guys are actually all healthy by that point. That should help out the defense.
Pouncey leaving is big red flag for me. I follow him on IG, kid loves Texas. He's involved w/ the Texas Cowboys and a frat I believe. He's got similar baby pics as Sam rocking burnt orange. I believe he also has a family member in Austin. For him to leave when Colin and Duv are seniors means he probably detests Coach Mehringer. They are saying on IT Washington and Watson are disgruntled too.The WR coach probably needs to be the first to go. To many WR are having problems right now.
I'm starting to believe

Washington and Watson could be disgruntled for reasons other than playing time. You got to win and keep the OOS kids engaged or else they're going to hop in that portal and go home. I'm big on Washington's potential and excited to see Joshua Moore back next season. I think he has some Hemphill in his game.To be completely honest Pouncey was never going to see the field here at UT in any meaningful way. He just isn't good enough. Kid wants to play so he had to transfer to another school to get playing time.
Washington has seen the field and dropped a TD pass from Casey. Watson has seen the field and got roasted twice, one for a TD I believe against Rice or WV. Neither of them are better than the guys in front of them right now. Those are two that just need to be patient. Watson can likely earn meaningful playing time next year because of what is in front of him but he is not ready right now. Washington is gonna be a baller, I think he is a Michael Thomas(cantguardmike) starter kit and will likely see increased playing time next year. But I guess losing makes people less patient, I really hope neither enters the portal.
The biggest issue with the team is our position coaches fukking suck from a coaching standpoint and as buffer to Herman. Instead of being the good cop to Herman's bad cop they want to fukking emulate Herman. If Herman does not get rid of his cronies after this year I am betting next year is his last year as head coach of the University of Texas. He is going to lose all his young talent and the upperclassmen will have graduated. Leaving a clusterfukk for the next coach in charge. There is no fukking way both Baylor and KSU should be better running programs than the UT when we pay our coach 6.5 million a year and they have every fukking resource to their benefit.

Other than Mehringer, who are the Herman clones on the staff? I feel like Beck, Drayton, and Washington are players coaches. I think the frustrations coming from the players is a mix of the "bad cop" thing and some of it is about the players just getting tired of the inferior coaching.
Bijan Robinson announced his commitment to Texas in early August but that hasn't stopped other programs from maintaining a steady dialogue with the big-time running back in the months since.
The 247Sports Composite five-star prospect from Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic was presented with his jersey for the All-American Bowl during a ceremony at his school Wednesday afternoon and tells 247Sports that although his recruitment has slowed down dramatically, there are still several college coaches he keeps in contact with.
"Other than Texas, I hear a lot from Ohio State, LSU and USC," Robinson said. "Those are the main schools that have been pushing. Ohio State has been very consistent; I talk with coach Tony Alford and coach Ryan Day. They give me advice all the time, they tell me to keep working and hanging in there since this recruiting thing is a process. With USC, too, those coaches have been telling me the same thing. It's a friendly relationship that we're maintaining and I also talk to other running back coaches whenever they text me to ask how I'm doing.
"Coach Day just texted me on Tuesday and I hear from Lathan (Ransom) about Ohio State every day. He lets me know that Ohio State is where it's at. But at the same time, I know that with Texas, this season could just be a step back and a set up for the future. I do listen to Lathan and other coaches, but right now, it's Texas for me. We'll see, we'll see."
Robinson, the nation's No. 16 overall prospect, No. 2 among running backs and No. 2 in the state of Arizona for the 2020 class according to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite rankings, has taken official visits to Ohio State, Texas and USC, leaving two remaining slots available if he decided to hit the road again.
The 6-foot, 200-pound back is the top-rated commit for the Longhorns.
"I'm good with Texas right now," Robinson said. "I know there has been a lot of talk that I could flip or whatever but, right now, it's Texas. As the season goes, we'll see from there but at this moment it is Texas.
"I still might take a visit to LSU. I have to talk about it with my family and the coaches there. If I do, it would be towards Thanksgiving at the end of next month. The fifth visit, I don't know, I might not even take. I know I definitely want to get out to one game at Texas, depending on my own season and how things are going."
Robinson has been credited with 1,887 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns in eight games as a senior this season, averaging over 22 yards per carry. He has also committed to play in the 2020 Polynesian Bowl.
