Damion Miller will be better than Denzel Mims.
He is a mouthpiece for the BMD in the Houston area. Best believe whatever his sentiments were at the time, were coming from them, which I don't find surprising as I am sure those guys in Houston were enamored with Tom Herman. Since he has been back on Shaggy he has kind of walked those opinions back and assume they are all back on board now.
His player evaluations are hit(moreso) and miss, I've learned to not take his opinions on recruits seriously.
The Hudson stuff is real. Mark Henry was supposed to talk with him that morning prior to signing, had that happen I believe he would have signed with Texas. Briles used backdoor channels to ensure they got Hudson LOI asap that morning. Then tweeted it out to make it public. Remember we are dealing with kids here so they aren't going to be adapt to bucking the system. Same thing with Thornton, dude signed with LSU, then changed his mind and wanted to sign with Texas.
That nikka is 6'4 & a trackstar? I've been so jealous that all of TCU & Baylor offensive skill postion guys were all track guys in high school.
But I can tell from Mims' High School stats dude was just a raw deep threat in High School. LJH has better receiving stats as a senior than Mims does as a senior or Junior despite the fact that WR was a secondary position for LJH.
If this is true, I'm not surprised by this one bit.Only thing I found surprising in all of that is Tren dikkson possibly wanting back into the class.
What's that mean?
This site presents a unique approach to rating and ranking high school athletes. Major recruiting services rank these athletes based upon the opinions of their experts. In contrast, the offer-based approach represents the perceptions of college coaches by quantifying the scholarship offers they’ve extended to each athlete.
- The offer-based approach has the following advantages over opinion-based rankings:
- More objective, with less opportunity for bias
- Greater number of reviewers
- Greater number of athletes are evaluated
- College coaches are more qualified to evaluate potential for college success
- College coaches have “skin in the game”
- Rankings can be made earlier in the recruiting process
Offer-based recruit rankings measure something slightly different than the traditional player rankings produced by recruiting services. The services’ analysts evaluate players almost solely upon how well they play their particular sport and position. College coaches must take much more into consideration. Academic ability and character, for example, are traits a college coach must consider before extending an offer to a prospect. Instead of being just a ranking of a prospect’s athletic ability, offer-based rankings are also a measure of how likely a prospect is to be successful as a college student-athlete.
Interesting way of ranking recruiting. Basically saying which college had the best offers and of those offers, which are the best to translate to success.Rankbyoffers.com is a website that does recruiting rankings based on offers:
