Cumbie and Gilbert are both good choices considering whats out there. Gilbert offense has lacked a real rushing attack the last couple of years though, but I don't think that would be an issue here.
Cumbie turned it down. Higdon said he wanted 3 yrs guaranteed, Texas would only offer 2 yrs.I don't understand. Did Cumbie turn the job down? Or has he still not made his decision? Gilbert still a very good choice. Some people said Gilbert would be a better fit and is more proven than Cumbie.
i had a feeling cumbie wasn't coming. if they choose gilbert, they need to do it quicklly.

I highly doubt the Texas brass would even accept Chip Kelly.Who cares about Cumbie when Chip Kelly will be the head CAC in charge down in Austin after next season.
