Cumbie and Gilbert are both good choices considering whats out there. Gilbert offense has lacked a real rushing attack the last couple of years though, but I don't think that would be an issue here.

It won't be Cumbie.

Crazy turn of events from how everyone felt yesterday. If both Meachum and Cumbie are at TCU next year I'd be highly surprised. Meachum must be moving on.

I don't understand. Did Cumbie turn the job down? Or has he still not made his decision? Gilbert still a very good choice. Some people said Gilbert would be a better fit and is more proven than Cumbie.

Cumbie turned it down. Higdon said he wanted 3 yrs guaranteed, Texas would only offer 2 yrs.

No. This year at Tulsa was his 1st season being a playcaller.

You should lurk on the Shaggytexas.com forums more often, Folks post stuff from the paysites all the time.

I highly doubt the Texas brass would even accept Chip Kelly.
