The broad had a whole other unrelated career in a completely different field (musical theatre) did a coding bootcamp for x amount of months and immediately landed a job in the most vibrant epicentre of technology in the world
:usure: Don't believe that mess. That was just to make her seem normal. Her parents could be tech millionaires themselves for all we know.

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
Imagine making $300k/year but not really feeling that well off. One of my best friends is an engineer in Dallas. Dude will just randomly take trips to Europe, Asia etc., just because of the disposable income. In San Fran, he'd be living like a dude making $40k/year.

Tech shyt doesn't even require you to be in the office. These folks should just telecommute and move someplace else.

Just calculated the 300,000 salary with California income tax and with a 300,000 salary homeboy can afford a 3500 dollar a month apartment which would be less than 25% of his monthly income.

So if that tech worker can’t afford a trip to Europe than he might seriously need to consider seeing a financial advisor.

I also googled apartments in San Fran that are listed between 3500 and 3800 a month and he wouldn’t even have much of issue looking for an apartment.

This line of work isn't really as hard as it's made out to be. You just need to be competent and exude CAC-like tendencies in the interview process and you'll land the job.

People are just studying for the IT certs and the exam without a degree and landing big gigs everyday, especially in London. All the recruiter is checking for are buzzwords on your CV.

Couple that with some voluntary work experience at a tech start-up or charity and you'll have the theoretical knowledge from passing the exams and real world experience from your voluntary work which could all be achieved in one year as opposed to doing a 3-4 year long university degree then having to take time out to self study for those cert exams which could itself take a few months to a year not to mention you'll have no work experience.

This shyt is easy and there's so much fukking money to be made.

I don’t feel bad for them. This is beyond supply and demand. Everyone in this story bought in on this elitist gentrification fantasy. But now that it’s blown up in their face, they want to cry about it, while sipping on their basic bytch pumpkin spice lattes. It’s also not like there haven’t been plenty of people saying that this isn’t sustainable. So fukk em. They better become accustomed to hurdling over the homeless as they walk down the street.

and what these fakkits dont realize is that they come to these large cities and bring NOTHING to to table.

no flavor, no diversity, no originality.

It's all the same shyt, same activities coated in vanilla boringness and rinse and repeat. These people even start looking/acting the same and think that money magically makes things better. Money can do alot but rarely do the ones with it do some real shyt with it aside from some self-serving bullshyt that also also their clone brethren to continue to eat.

These cats dont realize that they arent wanted or needed. How many alabaster bland CACs do you need to be around during the course of any day? Or creepy software engineers from India? Or banana-aging bytches who think yoga and spin classes will save them (and their saggy skin) from being washed?

this is real talk. San Fran is dealing with these issues in overdrive but it's a think all over the damn place. And how will it be fixed? Folks pull up with $ and higher paying jobs and the entitlement comes right with them.

First world problems...

Maybe they should make an app to handle these issues... :mjpls:

The worst kind of white liberals to ever exist are the ones occupying San Francisco right now and turning it into classist, racist, dystopian tech fueled hellhole.
Second worst are the white liberals occupying NYC driving up rents and holding tours of crime ridden areas for gentrifiers
The third worst are the white liberals occupying DC turning the chocolate city into a bland vaniila milkshake walking their dogs on the campuses of HBCUs.

I visited san fran once and it was wack
Yo...who was it that said they visited San Francisco once on here and the only black people they saw on their whole trip were homeless?
:mjcry:
These cacs will take their ideals and money and ruin another city soon..

Worse is if they take these San Francisco business model and ideas national, and you be seeing human shyt on a sidewalk near you.
That's why I say the white liberals occupying SF are cancer.

Take the ideas and strategies implemented in SF elsewhere and you have a mild humanitarian crisis.

I don't see gentrification calming its t*ts anytime soon, but it's high time to take a break from this model. It's killing so many series. It's time to stop making cities unliveable and unaffordable for natives and long time residents simply by maximizing every resource available in it's infrastructure for profit.
All this after San Francisco used to be the Harlem of the West :wow:and the robbed the black residents of that valuable property :

San Fran really a microsm of what’s ‘merica is becoming.

Batty man run tings, massive wealth inequality, inflated cost of living. It’s a Babylon ting.
The San Francisco tech industry brand of "diversity" = Moneyed white liberals that defend conservative racism on social media platforms, white LGBTQs, rich & crazy asians, indians, some hispanics, and NO black people.
