We also need to compile a list of everyone in the IBF. Treat them with just as much respect as anyone in the WBC instead of putting them in the "everyone else" category. This will make organizing ranks and battles a lot easier.

smh i thought this was about boxing, thought they finally were gonna clean up the sport 
whats the point. these shyts is getting no votes...our battle been up like 4 days and 5 votes? like seriously? I'm almost ready to stop posting music to this place. obviously no one cares.
Read my proposal fam. Voting will be a requirement or you get removed from the competition. Those 22 names I @'d will be posted in every battle so everyone knows there is a new battle up to vote on. This way there will be no excuses about not seeing the battle.
and don't get me wrong I'm not on some "you should be lucky I grace you with my presence shyt" lol. far from it. I just don't like how you put all that time into this league idea, go about setting up your battle, making the beat, and get like 7 votes in a few days. Its like why bother with the whole of it when you can just go about making whatever you want at your pace.
I feel you and i'm upset about the lack of votes so far, especially in my battle where me and Rod came to a first to 20 votes win agreement. I don't know when we're gonna see 20 votes, but I 'd everybody so hopefully the voting picks up.
Also, I think we had a good thing before with the league that Tom ran, but this has to the potential to be better competitively. We need to stick with it, improve it and see what happens.

Loving all the suggestions, but I think this post is under rated. Respect to @silver for voicing it, but I suspect there's at least a few other guys who just want to battle and see all this new system stuff as potentially too complicated. Any ideas on how to make things a bit more automatic/hands off for those that don't care about all the extra stuff and just want to battle?
If we're using a system based on boxing there's no simple way to do it. It has to be organized properly. If you ask Silver what rank he is right now he won't know, if you ask him if he's eligible to battle for the IBF crown..he wont know. That's why we need to tweak this system. Without rules/formats this shyt is gonna basically become a spar fest every week...ppl battling just to battle with everyone mostly trying to battle the guy who has the crown in each division. Before I even thought up my ideas it was about 3 of us that wanted a shot at the WBC crown...with no clear way to decide who deserved that shot. We can't go down that route, this shyt is going to fall off quickly if we do.
There is also the issue of ppl not battling enough and then when they do it's "I want to challenge for the belt" or they may wanna challenge someone who doesn't hold a belt but has been putting in more work than them, that shyt ain't fair.
You don't see Floyd fighting just any nikka who steps in the ring...it has to be the right nikka, with the right amount of rep (wins/losses)
I'm not asking nikkas to do complicated formulas n shyt to see where they rank and who they can or cannot challenge, just by reading my post the shyt is simple...very simple. We need to figure this out and I don't think "I just wanna battle" is the suggestions we need, this isn't a free for all...we're trying to have an organized competition/league.
There is a reason why we adopted this new boxing system and it damn sure wasn't to have what we have now. shyt is sloppy right now because the proper rules and regulations aren't there to force guys to step up and battle/vote.
I'm only trying to build on the great ideas that producing fire and the other guys came up with for this new system.

voting is a part of battling and it would be much appreciated if you can vote on the battles that are currently taking place fam..
i agree with you on voting thats something that needs to improve, i think we should try to get members of coli outside of this section to take a peek, people dont know what theyre missing
I agree. We need to get the mods to sticky battles in the booth section to gain more attention and votes.
