Where in that post did you see me say that Disney did not own Marvel outright? LOLActually, Disney (Company) owns Marvel OUTRIGHT; not just Marvel Studios - so all of the characters, all of the leased properties, outside of the movie rights that were leased out, and some animation rights.. I doubt Marvel Studios falls under Disney Studios. The only characters I know that was put under the Disney Studios umbrella were Big Hero 6. That's like saying Miramax (when it was owned by Disney) fell under Disney Studios.
I think you may be confused as to how subsidiaries work. Marvel Studios is still operated as it's own entity, as it was prior to the sale, however, they cannot go to other entertainment companies for distribution, as they did prior to the sale. But Disney has final say in all of their moves.
I don't understand this place. So many cats here rail against critics. like with a passion. there have been threads dismissing them when it comes to black movies, threads wondering why they rate some kid classics low, and then other threads saying this movie or that movie is overrated or underrated based on critical response. But then a critic is needed to make you feel positive about some shyt or indicative of whether or not you fukk with it?
depends on how its run, typically studios have their own staff, run through their own management, divisions can be run the same way.I'm curious, what's the difference between a studio and a division?
You didn't really say much breh :dwillchatty:depends on how its run, typically studios have their own staff, run through their own management, divisions can be run the same way.
What I've read about WB was that the DC Films label was simply a name, there was no DC Films head guy, things were created and run by WB execs and thrown to DC Films for just a label or tag.
What info were you looking for, I literlly told you it depends on how the corporation is structured. You didn't really say much breh :dwillchatty:
i dont need critics to make me enjoy the movies, im talking for the masses per say..everyone is thinking the DCEU is a bad stench because of these crtitics, no matter how good the movie is, if the critics dont rate it well, that narrative will continue
I'd rather have Batman Beyond.
A breh can dreamBreh they can't lol. Warner bros has owned DC for like 40 years now
A breh can dream
So many good characters in the DC Universe but because of WB's incompetence all we'll get is Batman shyt
