I used to struggle with the bench progression, what helped me out was 5/3/1.
Thats generally a good way to heavily increase your strength.
It also helps to include different variations of bench press in your plan, especially negative benchpress is a staple in my workout plan and that shyt is amazing. Same with narrow grip bench press.

You're looking at it as someone with experience though breh.

There are still grown ass women/men who are scared to death of barbells and need someone to point them in the direction of the basics.

Muscle confusion is key for experienced lifters.

I've been lifting for 5+ years and learned some new exercises/variations from OP.

Dude didn't come off arrogant at all, you hatin just to hate.

You make a good point here. A lot of us are older and have been lifting for 10-20 years so watching a video like this will leave us like:ld:

Hence the reason a lot of people ended up trying to give the OP advice they damn selves :pachaha:

But yeah it's a good video for the target audience.

This video is about auxiliary exercises that can help boost your bench. Help with the sticking point, explosion off the chest etc. I welcome any advice for my Chanel but some have forgot this video was about the auxiliaries. We all know the actual bench press should be the main focus. I make a lot of videos with different focus this is just one.

My chest is actually decent for my frame and my bench has never been great. I literally struggle to rep out 220 but I can move dumbells much easier.

Somewhere tropic...
Simple lift heavier weights lol. Eventually you'll plateau and gotta break through that
I used to struggle with 100 lb dumbbells now I toss them up for reps
I gotta grab the 120's now

That's good shyt...I need to work more with dumbbells. My left side is stronger than my right due to a emergency surgery I had years ago. I think working more with dumbbells my left side won't be able to compensate for the right
