Carbs r definitely needed for energy output but I do agree that overdoing them usually brings the mass straight to my gut b4 anywhere else that sux. I'd rather just continue a slow lean increase in weight. I make sure my workouts are high volume and do different workouts to shock my muscles so I still see good strength increases(check the gym wreckage chanel there's a lot more workout programs on there)...

thanks for the input. Bulking is hard for me and I literally have to eat a decent meal every 2 hours with my body type. That's too much of a job for me, I used to try and eat to get big but one bad week and I'm right back to my normal frame. I'm only focused on getting stronger now but I still make sure I get 1g of protein per lb of body weight per day..
I have the same problem.

What I am saying is the more energy you can store the more you can put out. Muscles burn carbs before they burn fat. It depends on how fast you want your bench press to increase.

True,but majority of guys with a big bench physique look like shyt,slow and steady wins the race.

Now if you want a big bench super fast,be my guest,but your going to get alot of unwanted weight with that.

In this video they were working on muscle fibers that weren't getting activated as much if only doing BB bench press.

dumbbell floor press (delts and tris: fixing the sticky point)

Weighted Diamond pushups will stimulate the triceps more and upper chest.
and those resistance band horizontal dips :ohhh::dwillhuh: (but need a partner:dame: for those)


for me it was doing decline pushups on a hill...you feel like gravity is pulling you down the bottom of the hill making it harder to press
