On that I agree wholeheartedly.

cool, im glad we agree, i just dont like the issue being portrayed as fighting corporations when the real issue is the government, it makes no sense for anybody in kenya to fight foreign investment when one of the main reasons why kenya is poor is because of the lack of foreign corporate investment

the key issue here is property rights and individual rights (expressed through democratic representatives) but at the end of the day if corporations and investors want to pay people for their property in a well regulated free market that is a good thing

I don't really get what the :lupe: is about, have some self confidence, first of all its water, it has no impact on anything international, this mostly effects people living in kenya, second of all foreign investment is good, third of all the key to this is not to prevent outside investment the key to this is making sure the kenyan government enforces individual rights and property rights and encourage more capitalism, the more investment there is the richer people become and the more taxes are collected

i think the kenyan president probably belongs in jail, but from what ive seen and read the kenyan government actually seem to be somewhat competent relatively speaking and are engaging the public and the government lady in the video sounds like she knows what she is talking about

Not sure if you know this...but private rich folk and corporations have been buying up a lot of aquifers in south america.

Resources are...RESOURCES. Whenever and however they can be exploited, they will.

Follow the money.

I know everything looks good on the surface to you, my caucasian brother, but those of us with eyes to see, can look at this one picture and understand more than you ever will about why Kenya's newfound water supply is in serious imminent danger.

Not all african people have curly or afro type of hair, there is straight hair out there. People need to get over stupid shyt like that. It's stupid stereotyping.

A leader that could solidify the region, and get them a spot on the big stage, would be a good thing in the long term.

Yup as he rapes his own people while feeding the elite and keeping wealth only among a few blacks. That will surely help out the entire country. It's a shame people like you have such low vision of african leadership. I think there can be a pro-black leader who is also not fukking corrupt. I don't think that's hard to ask. People don't need to romanticize despots and dictators as if they are the answer.

I'm sure we would find anyone coming to power in Africa(as it is now) unsavory.

You need to look past stage one where the evil dictator is on place, and to stage 4 or 5 when he is gone, and a united people can rise up and liberate themselves.

How fragmented the country is remains is biggest hurdle... Geography being a close second.

that thought process is the road to hell and is what has been going in africa since countries started becoming independent

"liberation" only happens through individual freedom and economic freedom of the citizen, it doesnt happen from the top down

corrupt politicians own these lands and africa about to get raped.
what should happen is the govt should take this land from these politians..

when barack went to ghana and talked about looking out of the interest of the united states what that means is white ppl wrote up the plan for them to rape africans then he goes there to excute it. africas are so star struck by obama that they'll just hand over there sh1t without seeing what they're signing thinking its barack that's written up this sh1t.barack retires profits go back to the white man.

africa should keep the west and east of their continent and develop africa themselves. don't fuq with none of these uncle toms and imperialist agents.

:patrice:I dont think any nation/territory has risen to greatness/prosperity without some injustice or disagreeable undertakings...

that isnt saying anything, that is just part of life, there isnt any nation that has fallen without some great injustice or disagreeable undertakings either
