I don't really get what the :lupe: is about, have some self confidence, first of all its water, it has no impact on anything international, this mostly effects people living in kenya, second of all foreign investment is good, third of all the key to this is not to prevent outside investment the key to this is making sure the kenyan government enforces individual rights and property rights and encourage more capitalism, the more investment there is the richer people become and the more taxes are collected

i think the kenyan president probably belongs in jail, but from what ive seen and read the kenyan government actually seem to be somewhat competent relatively speaking and are engaging the public and the government lady in the video sounds like she knows what she is talking about

I know everything looks good on the surface to you, my caucasian brother, but those of us with eyes to see, can look at this one picture and understand more than you ever will about why Kenya's newfound water supply is in serious imminent danger.

im black

any danger there is comes from the lack of individual rights and property rights in kenya, the danger is not from the outside

i dont see anything wrong with that picture, im sure coli women and coli homosexuals have something to say about her hair but that isnt my area expertise

property rights and individual rights is what protects people, international companies NOT investing in Kenya will not protect people
Your contention that water is not an international issue is what I was responding to. Either way, if aquifers are tapped for corporate sale in places like africa this is the future in 2025

a decrepit black dictator :obama:

unfortunately that is the way black people have been thought to think, that there is some outside force that will make things better or make things worse, the only thing that will make things better is giving power to the individual, there is no dictator that came make things better

ok ill clarify, i dont think this is important outside of africa

and i think what you and other people are saying is bullshyt and hyperbole

overall the onus is on the kenyan peolpe and the kenyan government, the onus is not on corporations and the solution isnt to keep corporations out

A leader that could solidify the region, and get them a spot on the big stage, would be a good thing in the long term.

Its not hyperbole. Booming, dense populations require a lot of water. Even here in america we have dried up major rivers like the colorado to keep las vegas and LA alive, and now were tapping aquifers toaddress that problem . Its no small issue.

i wasnt saying its a small issue, i was saying what protects people is individual rights and property rights and how far the government protects those things, so the onus is not corporations, the onus is on the kenyan people and the kenyan government

On that I agree wholeheartedly.
