the government can take your land but they have to pay you for it and there has to be due process, that is why i said that the key to people not being taken advantage is capitalism, capitalism means strong enforcement of property rights and private ownership
meaning if the government or any corporation wanted to do anything in turkana they should be welcome to it since it would put wealth into the hands of the private land holders
the biggest danger to people in turkana is the lax enforcement of and the lack of knowledge of property rights and individual rights aka capitalism by the kenyan government, the lack of capitalism is what is threatening the people
