Man when will u guys learn. Ggg is legit. The fact he hasn't beaten any elite fighters is cause all the elite fighters are ducking him.

Notice that ggg has been calling out Floyd, cotto, canelo for years.

U ever heard them mention his name once? They know. I think roach has said on record no way he puts cotto in with him. Ggg will retire cotto. That's a ridiculous fight actually at the tail end of cottos career.

Ggg canelo would be a good fight. And FYI to all u online warriors, u are aware they have been sparring partners right? Word on the streets is ggg was giving him work in the gym. Take it for what it's worth. But ggg sparred him and has been calling him out heavy. U think ggg would be calling him out if he thought he would lose? Or is he calling him out cuz he already sparred him and knew canelo couldn't touch him.

Honestly the hate ggg gets on this forum is strange.

Don't take my word for it, just youtube interviews with dudes he spare with. They all say the same thing. He's a solid technical fighter with world class ko power. He's also never been ko or dropped in a fight or spar.

Calling out guys not even in his weight class, Canelo already said he would fight GGG

if GGG moved up to super middleweight he would have big fights

That will be his downfall.

Its a bit sloppy. Hes straight food for anybody who boxes him. and hes not even busy. Matter fact take him deep past 6 I think he falls apart.

His footwork isnt there. somebody good on their feet will give him trouble.
I meant "aren't" always, but anyways

He honestly doesn't look sloppy as much as his style is simply awkward. Trust me, nothing is more frustrating than facing off against someone who is unconventional but either has crazy power or speed. His awkwardness is not by accident either, he does little subtle things to compensate for his lack of speed, and when he does move fast it takes opponents off guard. He's sneaky as hell and unrelenting, I'd hate to face/spar him. He knows his range and how to get the right space, angle, and balance on his power shots. He's no hype job, nobody wants to face this guy, they just will because either
A: They think their size advantage will put him off
B: They underestimate his ability to close in
C: They're not gonna get any other larger amount of money, so F*ck it

And since he's a champion, he'll never be anyone's mandatory. The other champions can simply give him the :mjpls: and sidestep to another challenge

yoreu right hes definitely very awkward, and his punches come in at unconventional angles.

Its that this movement reminds me of a current heavyweight. there isnt much lateral movement, hes flatfooted. Blows my mind that its a MW here whos heavy on his feet.

A decent boxer will definitely hand him his first UD loss.

Question, has his chin even been tested?

I dont give that much credence. Youre aware Khan used to spar Pac right? and word is Khan used to work him.

But lets not act like Khan wouldnt catch a brain hemmorrhage in an official fight with pacman.

Erislandy Lara should move up and challenge him... but then people would just say "Oh, ooh, he beat a smaller fighter"

Hassan N'Dam would be ideal, but I doubt (unless the money's right) he'd take the bigger challenge of GGG over JT
Martin Murray will never want any of these problems
Kid Choc and Danny Jac will probably face each other next on Showtime in 2015
Cotto-Canelo are on a collision course for May or June
Matt Korobov will be facing..........TBA on 12/13 for the vacant WBO title, but probably won't be ready for Feb.
Sergio's a warrior, but he ain't that crazy to take two beat downs in a row.........
They might bait Sergio Mora into that role............

Will Sergio Mora do? He's looked pretty decent lately :manny:

there aint a line of guys who can beat him but GGG has had his track shoes on when it comes to ward. the very fact he was willing to move up for jcc but not willing to for andre ward is solid proof of that.

GGG not facing elite competition might come back To burn him. I say JCC beats him just because we haven't seen what happens when someone can take his punches, which I believe JCC could . I don't believe GGG could take his punches though. Not for 12 rounds.

Jr is coming into that ring. 184-190 on fight night. He won't have to chase GGG either.

We have seen what happens when someone can take his punches. He beats the shyt outta them until their corner is forced to stop it like Rosado or Stevens.

We really gonna be calling GGG's opponents scrubs and then acting like Jr. will give him a test? The same Jr. who's best win might be a decision win over the same Rubio that GGG put in the dirt yesterday? :heh:

The only reason anybody thinks Jr. would be any type of threat to GGG is cause he cuts a shytload of weight. He's shown nothing in terms of skill that would present a challenge to GGG.

Who said cotto beats him?

Anyway GGGs stamina can very well be suspect too. his fights always end way too early.

Canelo has the skill though that can give him a tough night. I have faith in Cotto under Roach, his movement is better, punches are far more accurate, and he gets out of the pocket better, but we dont have much to judge other than them 2 bullshyt fights. Cotto def shouldnt take that fight yet, but an advantage i see in cotto is that his footwork is better, and that can give Golvovkin some trouble.

GGG has gone rounds before. He threw 144 punches in the 8th round against Stevens. Stamina is not an issue.

And Jr would still be the best fighter GGG has been in against. no contest. Add to the fact, that Chavez WILL make him pay, and hits hard enough to hurt him. Rosado is a blown up Jr Middleweight Journey Man. Stevens was a fringe MW contender.

GGG hasn't been in with anyone to know how good he is yet.

why for the life of me is Jr is seen as a big threat ill never understand...dude is a bum..he plods forward, no head movement, no D catches every punch to his face...GGG would have a field day with him...he would prolly break all types of bones in his face just like sergio did

GGG doesn't have nearly the Footwork or movement that the Sergio that fought JCC does. GGG would trade. And get hurt by the bigger man. In my opinion.
