@The Fukin Prophecy But theres definitely a difference with Roach. Before, cotto wasnt much more than a slugger. He also got hit alot. Which is why had Margarito not cheated I still believe it wouldve been a very tough fight for Cotto. Margarito is a big guy and Cottos boxing while looks good is not effective. Put him on his back foot hes going to lose.

But with Roach theres far more footwork. He doesnt just sit in the pocket hes in and hes out. Definitely better than his last 2 trainers.

fix was in last night. RUbio did not even try to hurt GGG. Dude calling out Chavez Jr after the fight was a true Arum/HBO move. knowing all the legal issues out there, Arum going out of his way to blaspheme Chavez Jr is real dirty. GGG needs to press for a legit fight cuz fighter time is ticking

Use a guy withstanding a power punch in the first round of a two round fight he got knocked out in as evidence, brehs.

I'm REALLY going to need someone to break down for me why it seems JCCjr having more power than GGG is the accepted narrative. He just debacled a guy in two rounds that JCC beat on for twelve and went no where.

JCCjr just went 22 rounds with a guy that Kirkland knocked out at 154

The dude is a fukking cruiserweight and he couldn't put away or put down a blown up jr middleweight

What knockout was it that cemented JCC as this crippling puncher, Peter Manfredo

I'm not denying or questioning whether Roach has improved Cotto breh...What I am questioning is to what extent and is it enough for him to beat a young sledgehammer at 160...Analyzing what he did against Sergio is pointless because he wasn't in the ring with a healthy fighter, he was in the ring with a 40 year old cripple...It was like watching a dude put in work on a punching bag...Cotto hasn't fought a legit or healthy fighter since Floyd 2 years ago...

There is no questioning who is the superior boxer, Cotto can and will outbox GGG...The question is do you think Cotto can do that and stay on his feet for 12 rounds against GGG? I personally don't and I have a feeling Roach feels the same way...

Few thoughts:
-GGG has excellent footwork. He just uses it to come forward and cut off the ring, not dance around. For the style he chose it is fantastic, he doesn't mess around switching between styles unsure if who he is. He is going to live and die by trying to be stalking fighter.
- He doesn't throw Mayweather laser accurate punches, but he is great at not smothering his work and landing hard punches in combinations to ALL parts of an opponent.
- Despite his aggressive style he still shows his opponents respect and involves defense - particularly in the beginning of his fights. Rubio didn't do shyt to GGG in that first round that no one else hasn't done. For a stalker GGG still takes a page from mayweather in not jumping on his opponent and getting caught early until he has a better idea of what the opponent has to offer.

Personal opinion: GGG makes easy work of Cotto and Canelo. JCC is a tough fighter, but not skilled enough. Froch is pretty threatening, but has a chin you can get to.
And Ward who IMO is GGG's toughest fight and I would list as the favorite. Ward is #2 pfp for a reason. But folks need to cool on the ducking talk...until Ward can prove he can get into the ring vs anyone.

Man when will u guys learn. Ggg is legit. The fact he hasn't beaten any elite fighters is cause all the elite fighters are ducking him.

Notice that ggg has been calling out Floyd, cotto, canelo for years.

U ever heard them mention his name once? They know. I think roach has said on record no way he puts cotto in with him. Ggg will retire cotto. That's a ridiculous fight actually at the tail end of cottos career.

Ggg canelo would be a good fight. And FYI to all u online warriors, u are aware they have been sparring partners right? Word on the streets is ggg was giving him work in the gym. Take it for what it's worth. But ggg sparred him and has been calling him out heavy. U think ggg would be calling him out if he thought he would lose? Or is he calling him out cuz he already sparred him and knew canelo couldn't touch him.

Honestly the hate ggg gets on this forum is strange.

Don't take my word for it, just youtube interviews with dudes he spare with. They all say the same thing. He's a solid technical fighter with world class ko power. He's also never been ko or dropped in a fight or spar.
