Watched the GGG fight this morning. yea, I will not be on Team GGG

his movement is shyt. he punches as fast as as a Toyota Prius. and they lack any type of crispness.


He punches like a 46 pound mallet though.

Hes running through these Pathmark cashiers who stand and trade with him.


Put him in the ring with a halfway skilled boxer/boxer-puncher and get him outta here





Canelo beats him. Id say Cotto too, but Cottos chin on them uppercuts been suspect since Margarito so thats a very risky fight.

he better stay far from Ward far FAR away.

Cotto, maybe.

His punches aren't crisp, but they're not meant to look good, those are some mean punches he's throwing without any caution of counters. His technique isn't "pretty" but you cannot argue that they are ineffective. Looking good and being effective aren't always two in the same.

GGG not facing elite competition might come back To burn him. I say JCC beats him just because we haven't seen what happens when someone can take his punches, which I believe JCC could . I don't believe GGG could take his punches though. Not for 12 rounds.

Jr is coming into that ring. 184-190 on fight night. He won't have to chase GGG either.

I wish Cotto had as much confidence in himself as you nikkas do in him so we cans ee the fight...There is a reason they ducking GGG...GGG footwork is suspect but that boy can cutoff the ring as good as anybody...this fight would be Margarito 1 all over for cotto...Cotto cannot box around this guy for 12 rounds, he doesn't have the stamina for it...When he inevitably gasses out he's getting KTFO or taking that knee...He cuts easily and cannot take a punch from a MW because he's not a MW...Freddie knows this, hence why he don't want the fight...

Canelo has a decent chance but I don't like anybody who stands and trades against this dude especially not at 160...It's like picking Tyson to beat Foreman...

Canelo has the skill though that can give him a tough night. I have faith in Cotto under Roach, his movement is better, punches are far more accurate, and he gets out of the pocket better, but we dont have much to judge other than them 2 bullshyt fights. Cotto def shouldnt take that fight yet, but an advantage i see in cotto is that his footwork is better, and that can give Golvovkin some trouble.

That will be his downfall.

Its a bit sloppy. Hes straight food for anybody who boxes him. and hes not even busy. Matter fact take him deep past 6 I think he falls apart.

His footwork isnt there. somebody good on their feet will give him trouble.

Regardless of what we think though, If Roach thought Cotto has a chance against this guy he would make the fight happen...The fact Roach has made no attempt to make the fight is very telling of what he thinks of Cotto's chances IMO...

Roach making that fight is throwing Cotto to the wolves. These past 2 have been way too easy and he cant up the heat that fast. Way too many variables. A Roach Cotto hasnt been taken into deep waters so we have no idea how has he actually improved. It needs to be Cotto/Canelo to see where he stands.
