Actors are LITERALLY clowns...It is entertainment ...You are better off doing 2 hrs of physical activity and brain puzzles than watching a movie...

Man most of our actors now are shyt honestly. Either our acting schools are turning out shytty actors or its a generation thing and these newer generations don't really care much about the craft to try and perfect themselves.

I think it's because the "middle budget" movie does not have a lot of opportunity these days.. it's either those huge comic book movies or straight to netflix videos.

Meanwhile a lot of great performances from actors in decades past were in movies that weren't huge summer hits but were still taken seriously by studios.

It is a distraction that many people (including myself) enjoy, but it really has no real benefit except the one that people IMAGINE that it has...

The millions of dollars that actors make is just more evidence of our WASTEFUL society...I am watching that Jack Nicholson clip and just keep thinking to myself That ISN'T even good acting...His movie wife is even WORSE...

I have worked in a Psychiatric Ward and I don't see the "madness" in Jack's eyes, instead I see a little twinkle/sparkle in them...He is NOT mad...

Maybe that's why I am NOT as impressed as you guys...Because I have actually seen "madmen" and Jack is DOESN'T come close the real deal...

i don't know what type of life you're living... but ENJOYMENT is definitely a top 5 things i need in mine... if you not enjoying life, or having series of moments that you are enjoying... whether watching some football, playing outside with the kids (which doesn't benefit your life either), going to new place on earth for vacation, playing a sport, riding a roller coaster, going to a movie, etc etc etc.... then i don't want to live it


is it AS beneficial as drinking water, exercising, and getting an education?? hell no

That is EXACTLY what Jack is lacking...Take a very close look into his eyes, there is almost like a twinkle in them...

Jack looks like somebody trying to act like he is crazy, and his acting just isn't convincing to somebody who has seen the real deal...

Movie is a classic

But how can anyone say the woman( Shelly Duval I think)wasn't absolutely horrible.just re watched it a coupled months ago and I couldn't stop cringing at every line she has in the movie. She's terrible

The goat jack made it a classic.
