Kubrick was a genius, and a genius is really nothing more than a madman with success.

Hitchcock has em too, it's a G.O.A.T. thang :hitch:

Just shows a lack of control over their egotistical, masochistic dispositions. Im just saying they would have been great WITHOUT doing that shyt to their actors as their creative talents and intellect would have got the performances they wanted from them anyway. Its unacceptable to me...

You all realize to get the performances and effect Kubrick was trying to create with this film he had to drive the actors insane? He was intentionally overly critical and completely unsympathetic to shelley Duvall to make her get into a certain emotional space of vulnerability and hopelessness. It's like your basketball coach yelling at you and being a dikk. You can't be nice to people while trying to push them to their full abilities.

Being a troll is being a clown. Except you're only entertaining to yourself. Acting is talent. Get a new hobby breh.
(1) Step up your comprehension and argumentation skills...

(2) I am not arguing about whether or not acting requires talent...Where in this ENTIRE thread did I state that acting did not require talent?

(3) You are calling me a troll because you DON'T understand what I am arguing, but instead of asking for clarification, you resort to name calling...Typical...

(4) Trolling is ALSO a talent, you have guys like Star and Buckwild and Charlemagne ThaGod making a pretty decent living trolling people all day...

So, because trolling requires talent, does it mean it is beneficial to humanity?

Wow he looks like a bytch.

If he was trapped in a hotel with someone that knows Brazilian jiujitsu he never would have been prepared to shoot that scene since it would have lacked authenticity.

:ehh: What's the best BJJ technique to take down a murderous breh yelling at you on the stairs? Should we shove him? Or jump on him so he loses balance and start punching?

^ Note the state of the mental state of Shelley Duvall in that stairway scene... I have no doubt Kubrick went beyond acceptable workplace etiquette
