I honestly don’t see how CP fits with the warriors Has he ever played in an offense that requires offball movement and motion? What does he bring to the table that the warriors need?
Steadiness
IQ
Passing without turning it over
Timely shots when needed
Organize the other guys on the floor

I’m not 100% sold on CP0 being on the team, but in theory he will be the primary ball handler off the bench. We will see what lineups they use, but the idea definitely be Chris Paul running off screens like Steph.

SO WHY ARE YOU
TALKING ABOUT RULES
AND TAXES LIKE DRAY
DIDNT GET A NEW DEAL?

Because I also had a post where I mentioned that after next season Chris Paul's contract won't be guaranteed. They will likely release him after this season.

THATS IRRELEVANT
IF THEY KEPT POOLE
AND LET DRAY WALK
WHICH IS EXACTLY WHAT THE
POST YOU QUOTED SAID.

Probably cause at 35 years old, he played great for OKC. And then the Suns became NBA Finals bound right after.... then they won 62 games in 2021-22.

He's 38 and still a good player but he is on the downswing. He gets hurt more. He's always got something hurt in the postseason.

And he got traded for a 24-year old homegrown talent who isn't even in his prime yet. But he was unplayable during the postseason.
It just screams to me of all the old formerly great teams that added old veterans to make a last gasp run. Just off the top of my head I remember Malone and GP to the Lakers, Shaq to the Suns, Shaq to the Celtics, Barkley to the Rockets, Webber to the Pistons, Nash and Dwight to the Lakers.

Problem with Poole is that he’s 100% useless unless he is scoring. But the issue with THAT is he isn’t very efficient.

His scoring actually isn’t that valuable when you consider, shot selection, how many 3s he took per game (8 on below avg efficiency), and IQ. And ofc let’s not event talk about defense

We have watched him long enough and been completely frustrated with dude all year.. he was too busy buying into being the 3rd splash bro instead of realizing his biggest asset was his first step blow by… he would get shyt right one guy and then revert back to a fukkin knockle head the next 5 games smh

Poole's game is predicated on making extremely tough shots. That's where the "baddies" meme came from. And it's cool if he can hit those, but when he's not, which is more often than not, it's an ugly site.
