I like Chris Paul but this will be a disaster because he and Draymond will bump heads.

Management let Steph convince them to keep Draymond which will be a mistake.

You don't trade a young promising player like Poole.

The rules of the game and different now since teams don't want to pay that new tax.

Poole on GOAT franchise you’d slander his whole family for one player.

Keep it a buck

Trading young for old like this rarely works in the NBA

This could be like Chris Webber for Mitch Richmond.

Funny how everyone concerned with CP age was wasn’t saying shyt when he signed with the suns tho :unimpressed:
Probably cause at 35 years old, he played great for OKC. And then the Suns became NBA Finals bound right after.... then they won 62 games in 2021-22.

He's 38 and still a good player but he is on the downswing. He gets hurt more. He's always got something hurt in the postseason.

And he got traded for a 24-year old homegrown talent who isn't even in his prime yet. But he was unplayable during the postseason.

I think they will play this season out since next year his contact isn't guaranteed they can get rid of him at no loss.

Problem with Poole is that he’s 100% useless unless he is scoring. But the issue with THAT is he isn’t very efficient.

His scoring actually isn’t that valuable when you consider, shot selection, how many 3s he took per game (8 on below avg efficiency), and IQ. And ofc let’s not event talk about defense

Plus it feels like he only becomes good if Curry is having an off game. But the team is obviously at its best when Curry is at his best. So he can't really be relied on to be part of the starting rotation.

Yeah, and it’s only good for scoring. It’s not like he becomes a better defender like Steph is, he doesn’t become a good rebounder like Steph, he doesn’t read a defense and turn into a good team defender like Steph is.

I think the discourse on social media is pretty much gassing jordan up to play pickup ball on the wizards this season in that he’s gonna take a bunch of shots and screw everyone else on the team. Tyus jones is on that team and he’s led the league in ast:to for like the last 3 years. He should do most of the ball handling. But the discourse makes it seem like it’s Poole’s team. Good luck competing with that
