That’s what you call it? The fact that at his age he’s still coveted around the league as a top 10-15 PG in the league says a lot…

It’s not like he’s getting passed around and no used..

The last team CP3 went to shot from 34 wins to the Finals the moment he got there, but now he's just a pass around? That mod is ignorant.

There's been more than one great (Moses, Shaq) who moved teams frequently in their late career. Hell, look at KD right now on his 4th squad in the last 7 years and still four years younger than CP3.

CP3 and his expiring contract probably gonna get traded at the deadline to a team with a lot of cap space so Warriors can take back a lot less salary (or none at all) and slash their luxury tax or potentially get under the tax. This trade was primarily a business move.

if all you can get in a trade for a young 20ppg scorer is a 38 year old over the hill role player, then:

1. the young player shouldn't have been paid such a large contract
OR
2. the FO should have been much better in negotiating/evaluating talent
OR
3. Both options 1 and 2

the way the warriors FO compounds bad decision on bad decision is incredible. CP0 isnt bad per se, but for what you gave up, the return is abysmal

To be fair, the upcoming 2nd apron really impacted team’s willingness to take on big contracts regardless.

I really don’t think the NBAPA understands what is going to happen now. The top 25 players are gonna be good and make money but you just can’t afford to have these non-elite guys on big deals anymore and their salaries are gonna get deflated.

I’m no Poole fan but he did carry a lot of weight for them in their playoff run last year, helped them win a title then he scored 26/5 with pretty respectable splits while Curry was out this year… he’s 24 years old and they straight up salary dumped him

Yeah maybe the NBAPA thought teams wouldn't mind the 2nd apron penalties. But honestly it's long overdue. Those Tobias Harris ($180M) and Bradley Beal ($250M) contracts are ridiculous.

I don't get this for Golden State.
Whats not to get? Poole sucked last year his basketball IQ is low made some of the dumbest decisions known to man. Im not paying 30 million for that. Plus im sure Poole wanted out if Dray returns. I think the offense is going to run better with Chris Paul in the fourth quarter. Chris will do good averaging that 27 to 30 minutes a game

I never understood this from the outside looking in. Is it required for players to follow their teammates on socials? I know there’s some athletes who “follow” nobody publicly.

Even weirder is the people that go and check up on who’s following who. Like they do this type of shyt with all the celebrity couples and rappers. Those people be bored as fukk to go and monitor that shyt.

As crazy as it sounds they might actually get along. They're both these basketball junkies that are perfectionists.

On defense they're probably going to agree with each other too, while they yell at the rest of the team. On offense they seem like less of a fit, but perhaps CP3 will figure out a way to utilize Draymond that we haven't seen in a while, and Draymond will feel some of the pressure off of him on that side of the court. Plus CP3 proved with Harden and Shai that he could excel off-ball when necessary.
