It's easy to say this after the fact. They weren't even rumored to be in the running for Porzingis.

It made all the sense in the world tho. I mean, I called it a month ago…

If I’m DC, I make GS put their money where their mouth is. You hate Poole, you hate Kuminga, Aight give em up. I want Poole, Kuminga, and Moody. They all trash right ? Wizards get younger (and separately trade Beal and Kuzma ). And GS gets rid of the apparent dead weight.

GS: Steph, Klay, Wiggins, Zingis, Looney

:laff:This is fukking hilarious. All these years of the warriors fans on this site shytting on CP3 and now they have to root for him

I should up the thread of nikkas saying they didn’t need to draft Lamelo because they had Poole :russ: I don’t know if I feel like being petty today.

This is shytty FO logic 101 … “hey we have no one to pay so let’s take on a terrible 4 year contract from a player that just had a regression last season”

I thought the idea was to clear cap space because of how valuable it was ..not it’s hey who gives a fukk about cap space really :manny: Lol which strategy is it?
I never was on board with "wizards FO are geniuses for clearing the books" that was the basis of my arguments in the other thread. I think this is a meaningful calculated risk, if a situation arises where they need to toss Poole to clear space again it should be pretty easy.
Bruh what? You actually believe that The Warriors just rolled out of bed today and decided to trade Poole to the wizards without talking to anyone else? There’s nothing to indicate you’d get any better offers.
I think from the warriors perspective it was to be rid of that financial commitment because they have been luxury tax offenders pretty much from it's inception, if they could've got rid of poole for nobody they would've probably, but CP3 was the next best thing.

I do think they could've flipped Poole for something nicer if they wanted to take on more financial responsibility, but that wasn't the purpose of them making that move. For the Wiz the market for Poole should be abundant outside of him having a season ending/career altering injury.

Let’s be honest. Man, Poole was carrying the Warriors the season before last while Thompson was rehabbing and returning.

Why give Poole that deal and then as soon as something like the incident with Green happens you turn on him and make it obvious you are on Green's side. Just bad business. He will be better off elsewhere.

Poole can freely get his shots off with Wiz. He won't have to worry if Curry mad he's taking his shots or if Green will chin check him :russ:
The wizards better pray it turns out that way :manny:
