This is shytty FO logic 101 … “hey we have no one to pay so let’s take on a terrible 4 year contract from a player that just had a regression last season”

I thought the idea was to clear cap space because of how valuable it was ..not it’s hey who gives a fukk about cap space really :manny: Lol which strategy is it?

Bruh what? You actually believe that The Warriors just rolled out of bed today and decided to trade Poole to the wizards without talking to anyone else? There’s nothing to indicate you’d get any better offers.
Let’s be honest. Man, Poole was carrying the Warriors the season before last while Thompson was rehabbing and returning.

Why give Poole that deal and then as soon as something like the incident with Green happens you turn on him and make it obvious you are on Green's side. Just bad business. He will be better off elsewhere.

Poole can freely get his shots off with Wiz. He won't have to worry if Curry mad he's taking his shots or if Green will chin check him :russ:

Y'all keep saying the Warriors could have gotten more for Jordan Poole. What exactly were they supposed to get? What trades were there for them to make?
:unimpressed:
Not to be funny but this may be the same thing the Wizards are saying in 2025

after this trade it does give gs the ability to sign draymond to a contract matching up with when curry expires while lowering their tax bill. still could find another suitor for cp3 this year or after this season trade/waive him and resign klay to a more team friendly deal which would give them a chance to get below the 2nd apron before the 24-25 season.

if they decide to keep him this year i think he still makes a solid impact. hes not a cure all, but he should improve some of their bench and depth issues from last season.
