Triple H has the better catalog and more classic moments but in the ring and on the mic skill wise they’re the same imo

Triple H just had better opponents

I don't recall jeff Jarrett burying talent during any of his title runs.

Even in tna when he was champ, he only held it cuz tna didn't have the star power to take the belt off him.

Hhh held a lot of talent down that was bubbling from exploding like they could've.

Jeff Jarrett's best work was in the worst stage of wcw & tna so his career doesn't get that glossy nostalgic feel like hhh king of kings of wwe.

JJ might be better in a less is more kind of way. You can tell la nariz was too much a fan of his own work. All those 40 min faux mid Atlantic title matches from 02-04 were way more than anyone wanted. JJ at least kept it short and sweet.

JJ would've put Booker T over or never used a racist angle to draw heat. JJ is miles better. Monty brown would've eventually gotten over had he not retired in TNA. Booker T or any black wrestler would've gotten buried to Triple Kaitch.

Also Kaitch would've complained to Steph if any top black talent didn't bow to him.

HHH is like the French Montana of wrestling. An overachiever who far exceeded his actual talent by being an opportunist. I am not necessarily mad at him for succeeding but he's not going to convince me he was anything above mediocre skillset wise.

I also find his cerebral assasin' shyt to be a crutch for lack of eliteness in any area. It's like when commentators tend to say a white guy has a higher basketball IQ then say, a more athletically gifted black player to make try to make you believe they're comparable. HHH harped on how well he knew and executed psychology in-ring to make you believe he was an elite wrestler but he cant brain wash me into buying it. He was just spending half the match rolling around in the ring like the lazy fukk he is. If he were a great wrestler, he wouldn't have to rely with working with other greats to put on a good match. He habitually made excuses when angles failed (Goldberg, Scott Steiner), yet can't juelz the fact that the Rock, just a few months prior, made Goldberg look like a million bucks (or Lesnar in 2019...).

Jeff Jarrett really was worst tier tho. Country music has really had a detrimental affect on society in many ways.
First he was a Lord Steven Regal knockoff who never got over.

He got paired with Chyna upon her debut, who was a draw because of her look.

He won KOR with no buzz and got put over by Mankind.

Then he got cast as HBK’s lil homie in DX.

Then he got paired with the Outlaws while still trying to be HBK Jr. making a bunch of stupid dikk jokes.

Then he got put with The Corporation.

Then he started that 10 minute long “I am the game-uh!” promo every week shyt. Cause I guess they couldn’t come up with anything interesting about him other than he studies wrestling a lot.

Then they went with he’s “the cerebral assassin” and started having him hit people with a sledgehammer when they couldn’t think of anything else.

:russ:

I wish we would’ve gotten an attitude era Austin-Jarrett feud.

Austin would’ve went over and dominated the angle I’m sure but it could’ve been entertaining.

Austin didn’t like him from their USWA days and didn’t like his promo where he called Austin 3:16 blasphemous so he wasn’t fukking with him.

A Rock-Jarrett feud could’ve been entertaining too. Rock would’ve also went over big, but I could see it being funny and fukkery-packed.

same person just one lifted more weights, took more roids, and smashed the bosses daughter

And one's daddy was a promoter who gave his untalented son a push that he didn't deserve. and no I'm not talking about Shane-O-Mac

JJ only had success when he worked for his daddy in USWA. Everywhere else he worked he got pushes and sucked ass. WWF twice, WCW twice and then TNA which he started with his daddy. shyt on HHH all you want but at the very least he would've done better than Jarrett even if he didn't marry the bosses daughter. You can't exclude his work with DX and he was always a more credible opponent for the top guys than slap nuts JJ.
