1-No one says Pac destroyed Nas, Jay, Big lyrically tho, they may give hit em up and against all odds props, but no legitimate rap fan is gonna say Pac killed em because there was no reply

2-Cube dropped King of the Hill during that same era, cmon bruh, you telling me he would've struggled with Common?
1 - You may be objective but you gonna act like we dont see in this same forum that revisionist history of pac stans claiming he bodied these rappers:comeon:
2 - not sure what cube would have done. common was a young hungry beast lyricist then not the fruitcake he is today and cube had already peaked and was on the way down as history showed

Death Certificate is one of the GOAT albums Breh. Production is amazing.
AMW is an undisputed classic.
No Common album is coming close to those two.
There’s no doubt about that. the production on the chronic and soc were so much better tho that I don’t really go back and listen to those albums. (U really had to be there in that time to fukk with the production. I was too young at that time. I do like the production on soc and music to driveby more tho even tho there same time and older. Regardless those cube albums paved the way and he was the best rapper at the time. It’s just nvr comparing to a infamous or a ls obcl doggystyle illmatic hell on earth idahih etc to me)Cube on proper gfunk and the beats on bow down is the shyt I liked hearing cube on the most. Amw I cant bump at all it just sounds like drum beats it’s hard to distinguish the tracks. Dc has songs that I like tho, True to the game is my fave track and a classic.

Man Ima keep it a buck.

Its not like the source did a breakdown on the bowdown album.
You east coast nikkas didnt know wtf Ice Cube was talking about and the average rap fam didnt either these were great songs.
Looking back with the internet now we know cube was dissing every enemy he had... and no Common weak ass didnt BARELY make the list.
I dont even think this was resurrection common this was "do u have a dollar common" that Common didnt have no respect.
He was a lame my nikkas.
I LOVE common he is a dope ass rapper and I will always check for him.
BUT HE AINT shyt COMPARED TO ICE CUBE.
NWA Westside connection 4 classic albums dissing the hardest nikkas EVER. at that time
common compared to Eazy-e is like comparing he-man to pee wee herman breh Lets be serious. Listen to king of the hill and tell me he aint have the capability to murder common get the fukk outta HEre.

They reviewed it breh. Gave it 4.5 mics. It was the first review of the issue. They put Mobb Deep second with Hell on Earth.

The whole beef started b/c of Common' song "I Used to Love H.E.R." being interpreted as a diss by Cube. That song is on Resurrection. Which dropped in 94. Cube dissed him on Westside Slaughterhouse on Mack 10's album in 95. Then went on Rap City and talked shyt about him there. Com struck back with the bytch in Yoo in 96. It was even released on that Urban Assault record in September of 96. But it was on mixtapes and had been pressed up on vinyl well before that. Cube knew about it and ducked him with a half-hearted response on the Westside Connection album.

I know cube wrote eaz-e lyrics but dissing eazy-e has consequences getting dissed by Common meant nOTHING.

The same nikka listening to spice 1 isnt listening to COmmon.

I got the albums mixed up but how many mics did resurrection get? like 4 he wasnt a factor bro.

:mjlol: @ Resurrection being a better album than Bow Down

Westside Connection was the number 1 Rap album all across the United States except New York. Give credit where it's due
