his 2nd album wasn't as good since he had no one to diss. But he did drop this gem.
Most of this isn't true.
If you were a serious hip hop fan at the time, the song was not a non-factor.
He didn't get Farrakhan to squash shyt.
That happened after Big and Pac died. In 97.
Cube could have responded on the Westside Connection album...but didn't.
Cube was shook
Funny how it came out that this was bullshyt lolCommon performed that in cubes hood and didn’t get touched lol cubes one of the goats and is way better then common but he got fukked
Yea, it's a shame that they don't make albums like this no moreI remember working at Camelot music in the mall when this album dropped. We had the listening stations for each type of music, as employees we could pick up to 5 new cd's for the station. I had this album, Master P Ice Cream Man, DJ Blend (local dj), and 2 others. Once cats put on the headphones and heard Westside Connection especially "The Gangsta, the Killa and the Dope Dealer", it was a wrap, sold like hotcakes. This album has literally stayed in my rotation throughout whips, jobs, relationships, etc. It was literally raw uncut unapologetic lyrics and production.
