Classic case of needing to find a place where the coach would take the time and develop him instead he did the generic 5 Star thing and went to a blue blood. Where they really expect you to be that dude you was on your mixtape but you’re not and they got another highly rated dude who play your position in the next recruiting class who taking your playing time and you get frustrated because the reality of life not matching with your dreams because that dream is something you worked your whole life to complete plus expectations from friends and family who keep telling you, you gonna be a millionaire NBA Star in the future.:mjcry:

This a run-on like a mf'er, but it's facts, and that last part is definitely true - and not something many think about.

Can you imagine how much pressure there is being a top recruit? Your whole city, if not state, projecting their hopes and dreams onto you. Your local church got your momma a parking spot and a great seat. Like you said, everybody expecting you to blow up and make millions, and be on TV. All the haters who told you you were overrated, praying on your downfall.

That level of expectation gotta be insane to deal with.

Naw the only highlights I ever saw of him where dunks. There were 3 of em in that class who were jumping out the gym, Seventh Woods, unique McLean and Donavon Mitchell. I never thought much of him cause I never seen any other aspects of his game. The unique McLean kid had potential doe he was a lefty who could shoot it to.
Wasn't Dennis Smith in his class too?

Everywhere...You never there.
Man I was one of the dudes who thought he would translate. I seen him live in high school a few times. He was crazy explosive but he made plays for teammates. I seen him vs Dennis Smith at a local Christmas tournament and he was doing his thing. Roy Williams was actually at this tournament and walked right by me. I thought he should have went to SC cause he would have played immediately to under Frank Martin and UNC always got top dudes. But he got exposed there. He is Definitely a lost cause and I'm surprised UNC still kept him cause they gonna keep getting good dudes who probably better. Also thought pj Dozier should have stayed another year. Another local product who was feeling himself after the SC final four run, jumped early, didn't get drafted now in no man's land

All big facts :wow:
