Man I was one of the dudes who thought he would translate. I seen him live in high school a few times. He was crazy explosive but he made plays for teammates. I seen him vs Dennis Smith at a local Christmas tournament and he was doing his thing. Roy Williams was actually at this tournament and walked right by me. I thought he should have went to SC cause he would have played immediately to under Frank Martin and UNC always got top dudes. But he got exposed there. Definitely lost money and I'm surprised UNC still kept him cause they gonna keep getting good dudes who probably better. Also thought pj Dozier should have stayed another year. Another local product who was feeling himself after the SC final four run, jumped early, didn't get drafted now in no man's land

Hell nah haha, I'm not no agent or nothing. Just heard about him locally so I checked him out as a freshman and sophomore. He looked good and had potential but whenever I watched him at UNC he looked like he overthinking out there and you dead that way. UNC is not a place where you gonna grow. If you not cooking early they probably got someone in the cut to take your spot off top.

Classic case of needing to find a place where the coach would take the time and develop him instead he did the generic 5 Star thing and went to a blue blood. Where they really expect you to be that dude you was on your mixtape but you’re not and they got another highly rated dude who play your position in the next recruiting class who taking your playing time and you get frustrated because the reality of life not matching with your dreams because that dream is something you worked your whole life to complete plus expectations from friends and family who keep telling you, you gonna be a millionaire NBA Star in the future.

Lotta people thought this dude would be a beast

He's raw as hell, but he's way ahead of all of the other high school phenoms in this thread. He never got any minutes at Florida because he was always in trouble. Was signed by Houston, but got cut immediately once they saw how raw he was. He's been with the Rockets G-League team for 3 years. I've watched him a handful of times, and he's someone who has a place in the league with the right team. He's had to share minutes with the Rockets other prospects down there, but he's played much better than their prospects. He can block shots, muscle his way to a rebound and he's a good passer. Unfortunately, he is a horrible shooter so that limits his opportunity to land a spot somewhere.

His jumper is trash. He doesn't take it a lot either, which is a sign that it'll continue to be trash.
