From what I understand JJ says he was promised a feud with Austin upon his WWE return. He says he took 2 stunners from Stone Cold and SC refused the feud.

Austin said he refused the angle because JJ wasn’t over enough as a heel and he also said JJ couldn’t keep up with his physical style in the ring enough to make a good match. He also was mad at JJ about his promo where he called Austin 3:16 blasphemous cause he felt it could hurt his merch sales to put something like that out. Austin is also rumored to have some resentment toward JJ and JJ’s dad over how he was treated and paid when he worked for his dad’s promotion way back.

Was Austin wrong for not at least doing the feud with JJ? We all know Austin would’ve went over big anyway.

Reads like Austin being a diva.
Yeah I'm an Austin stan but it's clear dude was probably a pain to work with at times. Even Vince has said Austin is the toughest star he's had to deal with...and he's had to deal with Hulk Hogan.

Now obviously, Jeff Jarrett had a peak and was never going to be a major star, so it's not some striking indictment that Austin didn't want to work with him. But I'm sure Austin's attitude rubbed people the wrong way many times.

This isn't as justified as him refusing to job to Brock on a random RAW though. He had every right to save creative from their fukking selves with that decision.

No, Jeff Jarrett isn't terrible but he reeks of non main eventer and would hurt the hot run WWF was on.

I thought it because Jarrett took a Christian angle against Austin 3:16. Stone Cold took it as if he was messing up his money.

Nah. Double J promo fell flat

So who was the drug addict and black man that couldn't speak English? :mjpls:

Man the crowd was like :russell: until he mentioned Stone Cold’s name.
The black man had to be Ahmed Johnson. Had to be. :russ:

The real question is who’s the drug addict was? That could have been darn near anybody.
