same shyt I was thinking t myself yesterday. There was nothing about his performance that screams Oscar nod. Same for Kerry Washington. They did great for the role they had, but they weren't touching Leo, Waltz nor Jackson's performances. To be honest, Jackson stole the show, but at the same time, I don't want him to win an Oscar playing the goat c00n in pop culture.

It's more I think the subliminal message that it was a Slave Movie and only the White Actors are getting praise for their performances. Let's not sit up here and act like Hollywood loves to nominate Black Actors cause they don't. Normally it's about 1 a year if we are lucky. This year it's Denzel who is an easy choice for the Oscar but he probably won't win. Hollywood Racism is still alive and well when it comes to award shows like the Oscars and Golden Globes.

Jamie did win an Oscar and Golden Globe but he's right to accent the fact that again Hollywood does not value Black Performances cause they don't. Look at "What's Love Got To Do With It". How did Angela Basset and Lawrence NOT win that award? But instead Halle had to f*ck Billy Bob to win in a role Angela turned down cause of that scene, the irony. Denzel had to be a Dirty Cop. Monique had to be a dead beat mother. Forrest had to be a African Killer Psychopath. I mean most of the roles we win for we have to play terrible human beings.

Actually he didn't. Christoph Waltz did which is why he's nominated for a Golden Globe and Oscar. Sam stole the show for sure but the Academy, Globes, Sag's didn't think so. He isn't even getting nominated for the role outside of the NAACP image awards. At this year's Oscars I think only 3 Blacks were nominated. That little girl in "Beast of Southern Wild" which is huge cause she's young. Denzel which is a safe choice and Reginald who produced "Django". So he's the only Black person from Django to get nominated.
