i agree with jamie. they been selling this movie as a slave revenge fantasy, and here we go, its all about the white characters. i aint even seen the white actors doing promo, black actors out here like slaves selling this movie and white people getting rewarded. its all gone meta.

Sam's gotten A LOT of love for his role. And to be honest, I don't think Foxx wasn't as good as Leo, Waltz, and Jackson. That's not a slight on Jamie; he was good. But those three were outstanding.

Everytime he was onscreen I always felt it was just jamie fox actin... now dicaprio did his thing and he's even more famous and stereotyped into certain roles than fox is

He was fine in the role but it's not that hard to play the cold, quiet guy. Leo and Waltz deserved the golden globe nominations, Samuel L could get a nod too

I agree with this 100%. He didnt have much to do outside of making faces. Really during the movie i never forgot he was Jamie Foxx, if you know what i mean by that. That scene near the end where he was convincing the slavers that he was a bounty hunter was where he kinda lost character for me. He sounded just like normal Jamie Foxx.

Sam Jackson killed his role. He became a live action Uncle Ruckus. Leo even made me like him and i usually dont mess with his movies at all.

ZERO Black Actors nominated for Django. Only 2 Black Actors nominated for the entire show. Are you telling me only 2 Black Actors gave good performances this year? This is my point about the Oscars. They lack Diversity.
