The woman was taken advantage of by people her whole life and just had a sad story.

He would have taken care of her and the child regardless because he cared for her deeply. Many people took advantage of Forrest but Jenny wasn't one of them.

Jenny gave it up to Forrest when she was diseased, broken, and desperate. She knew of his mental incapability since she was a child yet mysteriously chose THEN to mess with Forrest. Why didn't she keep him away from her like she did in most of the movie when she got AIDS and he came into that money that made him rich? They got married and had a baby when Forrest became rich tho.

Jenny gotta have THEE SADDEST story I've ever seen in a movie with white people. Sexually and physically abused as a kid, kicked out of college because she needed to make side $$$ in Playboy mag, got hooked on drugs...and on and on.

Jenny had the brains and zero luck. Forrest had an IQ of 70 or 75 yet was probably the luckiest mf outside of that and was a great athlete, soldier and millionaire.

Would a person rather have a 140+ IQ and bad luck or be borderline mentally challenged but live a charmed life and succeed at everything you try?

And Forrest was mentally slow so it makes VASTLY more sense for her to marry him after he lived life, experienced the world and grew up. When they got married he was a grown man; not a handicap child.

Forrest had a wonderful life and Jennie had an awful life. It's crazy how a few months of happiness while she died and she literally took nothing for him is seen as "taking advantage of him" to you.

The lack of humanity ya'll have for women is frightening. The woman wasn't even allowed peace and love on her death bed.
