I personally found Drake because a co-worker told me to check em out around the ComeBack Season era in 07. I was sceptical because he was a Degrassi star and from Canada but that tape made me a fan and I've been checking for him ever since.

Yes, a lady over at Rocafella who now works at Rocnation was interested in Drake but like other was hesitant to work with him because of his television roots...

He was with Young Money... but he didn't have a Major behind him just like Big Sean before signing to Def Jam in 2010 despite being on G.O.O.D. since 2007...
