Was Dr. Dre really expecting Knocturnal to blow up off this song?

Like the beat, and the missy hook...

This nikka was nice on the mic, sick flow...

Bad intentions :whew:

I always thought this Knoc / Dre collab was underrated.

His career kind of got fukked up due to bootlegging and releasing his album right before his label folded so fukking up shipping and promotion. Didn't help he was an absoulte alcoholic either. I was actually interested in him making a comeback with "Book of Knoc" but the mixtape/street album he released instead was weak as hell.

The whole Knoc, Hittman and Mel-Man never really doing anything beyond "2001" and a few leaks is mad disappointing. Dre had himself a real fukking talent pool back then and we got little to nothing from it

Those three should have been released an album together by now. They had chemistry and they could of sold off nostalgia alone. There's really no excuse for how lazy they all are.

first, what happened to Damizza?

and second, Wesside Connection had a lil run back in the late 90s/early 2000s. This group literally extended Cube's career during the time he was going hard with the movies and shyt

Damizza released a book a couple years back online that was a pretty interesting read, duke ran West Coast radio for a few years but he was always a shyt rapper imo.
